We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter, Warehouse & Driver Assistant to join a busy and growing business based in Corby.
This is a varied role that combines customer service, internal sales, warehouse operations, and delivery driving duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers at the trade counter and providing excellent customer service.
- Handling incoming and outgoing customer calls in a professional manner.
- Processing customer orders received via email, online, and over the telephone.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Responding to customer enquiries, providing order updates, and resolving issues.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding product availability and specifications.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Delivering products to customers using company vehicles.
- Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Assisting with general warehouse and trade counter duties as required.
- Developing product knowledge through ongoing training and supplier support.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a trade counter, warehouse, customer service, or sales environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
