Our recruiters are at the heart of what Join Talent does.
So finding brilliant ones is pretty important.
We’re looking for an Internal Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of Internal Talent Acquisition at Join Talent, helping us find and hire the brilliant TA people who make our business what it is.
Reporting to Lee, our Talent Acquisition Director, you’ll have plenty of autonomy to run Internal TA day to day, while working closely with Lee and the wider leadership team on what we need now, what we’re likely to need next and how we continue to improve the way we hire.
This is very much a hands-on role. You’ll be sourcing, engaging, interviewing and hiring yourself, but we also want someone who can step above individual vacancies and think strategically about how we attract, assess and build pipelines of great TA talent.
What you’ll be doing…
At its simplest, you’ll make sure Join Talent can find and hire the TA talent we need, when we need it.
Some days that means getting stuck into sourcing and finding an outstanding recruiter for a client team. Other days it might mean looking at future demand, talent pipelines, hiring data or attraction strategy and working out what we need to do differently.
- You’ll lead our internal recruitment activity end to end: partnering with leaders to understand what they need, sourcing and attracting talent, interviewing, managing candidates and offers, and helping us make consistently good hiring decisions.
- You’ll build and maintain talent pipelines so we’re not starting from zero every time demand lands, and you’ll think creatively about where and how we find great recruiters – particularly the ones who aren’t actively looking.
- You’ll play an important role in how we position JT as an employer, how we reach the recruitment talent we want to hire and how we create a candidate experience that reflects the business people are actually joining.
- You’ll use data to understand what’s working, what isn’t and where we can improve, while keeping an eye on what’s happening across the wider TA market.
- And importantly, you’ll think beyond today's vacancies.
- We want someone who can understand where JT is going, anticipate the capability we're likely to need and help shape an Internal TA approach that can scale with the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
As we grow, there’s also plenty of scope for the role – and the team around it – to grow with you.
A bit about you…
First and foremost, you’re a very good recruiter.
This is important. We’re not looking for somebody who wants to sit at 30,000 feet talking about recruitment strategy while somebody else does all the recruiting. You’ll be comfortable rolling your sleeves up and doing the work yourself.
- You’ll understand Talent Acquisition well enough to recognise a brilliant recruiter, sourcer or TA leader when you meet one – and experienced enough to know that the best people aren't necessarily the ones who interview the best.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience taking the lead on recruitment activity, whether that’s running an internal TA function, leading a team, owning a significant area of hiring or being the person others rely on to make things happen.
- You can think strategically about workforce demand, pipelines, attraction, process, technology, data and candidate experience, but you're equally comfortable getting into the detail and finding somebody yourself.
- You’re comfortable with autonomy, you make good decisions and you don’t need somebody constantly telling you what to do next.
- Lee will still be there to support you, challenge you and get involved where it makes sense. But we’re looking for someone who can take the day-to-day running of Internal TA and make it their thing.
There’s also a very good chance you’re a bit of a Talent Acquisition geek.
