International Account Manager
Sector: Payroll / Contractor Services
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: c.£45,000 / c.£20,000+ OTE (uncapped)
The business has a well-established UK client base and is now seeing a growing number of those clients looking for support internationally, particularly across the US and Ireland.
They’ve recently appointed an International Sales Director to focus specifically on growing this side of the business and are now looking for an International Account Manager to join them.
There’s already a strong flow of opportunities coming through, so initially the role will focus on existing client relationships and inbound enquiries - understanding what clients need, qualifying the right opportunities and helping manage them through the process.
It’s a brand-new role in a growing team, working directly alongside the International Sales Director, with plenty of scope for the position to develop as the international business grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
