Dogstar Foundation
Dogstar Foundation, is a UK based charity with its NGO operating in Sri Lanka. Set up by Sam Green BEM and Mark Green in the late 2000’s, Dogstar Foundation has grown to be recognised charity and NGO operating from the Negombo region of Sri Lanka.
What difference will you make?
DOGSTAR FOUNDATION activities focus on the welfare of owned, community and street dogs and cats in Sri Lanka, with canine/feline population control, rabies vaccination programs, feeding, veterinary care and education. Our charity is supported by major UK animal welfare charities and is regularly featured on digital media and even on Sri Lanka TV.
With an established fundraising team in the UK and operational NGO in Sri Lanka, we have grown to be a 7-figure income charity. As a recognised leader in modern animal welfare methodologies, our key operational members receive regular invitations to attend and deliver talks around the world at Veterinary, Welfare and One-Health conferences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
