Are you an ambitious sales professional who enjoys opening new markets, building commercial relationships and driving international growth?
We're supporting a UK-based engineering and manufacturing business as they continue to expand their presence across Europe. With an established product portfolio, strong UK foundations and significant untapped opportunity internationally, they are seeking an International Business Development Manager to help shape the next phase of growth.
This is a genuine business development opportunity, with approximately 60% of the role focused on identifying and developing new distributor, reseller and channel partnerships across Europe. The position will see you travelling internationally for around two weeks per month, developing new markets across key European territories including the Nordics, France and Spain.

What You'll Be Doing
- Developing new distributor and channel partner relationships across Europe
- Identifying and opening new markets and revenue streams
- Growing sales through existing international partners
- Working closely with customers, partners and internal teams to deliver tailored commercial solutions
- Representing the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and trade events
- Building long-term strategic relationships across multiple territories
- Reporting on pipeline activity, market trends and growth opportunities

What We're Looking For
- Experience in business development, international sales or channel sales
- Proven ability to generate and win new business opportunities
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating across different European markets and cultures
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, capital equipment or technical product environments is advantageous
- Able to understand technical products and communicate confidently with customers, even if not technically qualified
