About High Velocity Network

High Velocity Network (HVN) is a U.S.-based business transformation consulting firm helping organizations improve how they execute complex transformation initiatives.

We work with organizations on technology enablement, supply chain, telecommunications, facilities, and other specialized consulting engagements.

As we expand internationally, we are looking for experienced, entrepreneurial Business Development Representatives in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom to help establish and grow our presence in these markets.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional high-volume cold-calling position.

We are looking for someone who understands how to identify the right organizations and decision-makers, develop relationships, open doors, and create qualified business opportunities.

You will serve as HVN's local business development presence in your market, working directly with company leadership and clients to identify prospects and develop new client relationships.

The ideal candidate already understands B2B technology and connectivity services and is comfortable engaging senior leaders in procurement, supply chain, finance, operations, IT, and related functions.

What You'll Do

  • Identify target companies and potential clients within your market
  • Develop relationships with senior business decision-makers
  • Prospect through LinkedIn, email, phone, networking, referrals, and existing relationships
  • Introduce HVN's consulting and technology capabilities to prospective clients
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings with prospective customers
  • Participate in initial client conversations and help identify potential opportunities
  • Work with HVN leadership and subject-matter experts to develop opportunities
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, conversations, and opportunities
  • Follow opportunities through the sales process
  • Help HVN understand local market conditions, competitors, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent HVN professionally within your local business community

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Success Looks Like

During your first 90 days, we would expect you to:

  • Build a focused target-account pipeline
  • Establish relationships with relevant decision-makers
  • Generate consistent qualified prospect meetings
  • Develop approximately $75,000–$100,000+ in qualified sales pipeline
  • Begin progressing initial opportunities toward paid engagements

Successful representatives will have the opportunity to increase their hours, responsibilities, and earning potential as their market develops. The representative will have the ability to convert to a full-time employee following a 6 month probationary period with HVN client.

Why Join HVN?

This role offers the opportunity to help build a market rather than simply inherit a sales territory.

You'll work directly with HVN leadership and experienced business transformation professionals while having considerable independence in how you develop your territory.

For the right person, this could grow from a part-time business development role into a much larger market leadership opportunity as HVN expands internationally with our clients.
