Job Title: International Channel Marketing Consultant
Primary Business Contact: Channel Marketing Director (reviews and accepts deliverables)
Location: Remote (United Kingdom)
Region: Europe and Australia, with potential future expansion into select Asia markets
Employment Type: Contract Relationship (business-to-business)
The Role
The International Channel Marketing Consultant is a remote, UK-based contractor role supporting Victrola's Marketing department. In this role, you'll build and grow relationships with retail partners and distributors across Europe and Australia (with potential future expansion into select Asia markets), driving channel marketing execution and brand consistency in the region — South America and Canada are out of scope. Victrola will define the scope of services and review completed deliverables; the Contractor retains discretion over the manner, means, and schedule of performing the services, subject to mutually agreed deadlines. Reporting to the Channel Marketing Director, you'll work closely with international sales and PR teams, translating on-the-ground market context into clear, actionable recommendations, especially where local dynamics differ from the U.S. This is a relationship-driven, foundational opportunity to build international marketing experience within a growing global brand.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Drive Sales and Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with Victrola's international sales team to identify opportunities, prioritize marketing investments, and develop channel initiatives that support retail growth across the region.
- Build International Retail Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with international retail partners and distributors to support brand visibility, product distribution, and sell-through in key international markets.
- Identify Regional and Retail-Specific Opportunities: Surface market-, retail-, or culture-specific marketing and brand-building opportunities that may not be visible from HQ and turn them into clear recommendations for the broader marketing team.
- Support Channel Marketing Execution: Help roll out channel marketing plans and promotional campaigns with international retail partners, ensuring alignment with global brand and sales strategy.
- Coordinate Local Market Adaptation: Partner with the Channel Marketing Director to adapt channel materials and campaigns for regional relevance.
- Track Channel Performance: Monitor sell-through and campaign results for key international partners, flagging opportunities and risks. Use regional trends, channel performance data, and on-the-ground market context to make budget recommendations to the Channel Marketing Director.
- Manage Self-Service Advertising Accounts: Oversee self-service advertising accounts such as Criteo for international retail partners, with budgets determined in partnership with the broader marketing team.
- Support Trade Shows and Industry Events: Assist with logistics and on-the-ground coordination for international trade shows and key industry events.
- Monitor International Market Trends: Track regional retail and competitive trends, sharing insights with the broader marketing team.
- Partner with the London PR Team: Collaborate with Victrola’s London-based PR team on press initiatives, media assets, and event support.
- Support Brand Consistency: Help ensure marketing materials and communications reflect Victrola’s brand standards across the UK and other key international markets.
- Support Brand Materials Localization: Help adapt brand decks and sales presentations for international audiences.
- Support Product Marketing Needs: Serve as a resource for the international commercial team, distributors, and retail partners on product-related information, content, and marketing needs, helping ensure they have the materials and information needed to effectively support the brand and products in their markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
