International Commercial Consultant

Edinburgh
Hybrid, 3 days in the office
Circa £50,000

About the role

Our client is a leading online retailer, part of a larger international group, and expanding quickly across several overseas markets. They are looking for an International Commercial Consultant to drive sales growth, margin and scalability across those markets.

You'll work with country teams to set pricing, shape the product range and manage margin and supplier rebates, while building the automation and reporting that make it all run smoothly. It's a mix of commercial strategy and hands on data and technology work, with real influence across a growing international business.

What you'll do

  • Set pricing strategy using competitor price data and dynamic pricing rules, balancing competitiveness with margin targets
  • Lead online merchandising, including product ranging, assortment and product visibility on site
  • Own supplier rebate tracking and margin modelling, and support sales forecasting
  • Track promotional campaigns and review their margin impact and return on investment
  • Give hands on commercial support to local country teams and share best practice across markets
  • Provide the models and analysis for annual and long term planning
  • Produce monthly executive packs and weekly performance dashboards
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines, reporting and AI tools that streamline operational workflows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
