Job Description
To spend time within the International Operations Department and develop a good understanding of the International Analyst team and where/how data can support the wider department, whilst gaining insight into the skills/software required to successfully provide the required analysis and working towards completing an Apprentice Qualification.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide cross-functional support to the International Analyst Team
- Participate in specific projects, working in groups, and other duties required to drive and enhance the International Operations Department
- Understand how the International Analyst Team supports the IOD and perform team-specific tasks
- Assist, when requested and deemed necessary, with presentations to International clients, SMT, and internal departments, and attend any meetings when required to provide international knowledge
- Gain knowledge of the various systems & languages used by the International Analyst team
- Support key initiatives within the International Analyst Team and wider department
- Support with daily and weekly reporting across the team
- Complete any other duties as specified by the International Analyst Manager
- Undertake and complete an Apprentice qualification aligned with the analyst apprentice role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and also collaboratively
- Computer literacy skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Suite
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs at L4 or above, which must include numeracy and literacy

Apprenticeship Curriculum Details
The Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship runs over a duration of 18 months and includes 6 hours per week of dedicated off-the-job training. Core modules covered throughout the program include:

Additional Information
What we’re looking for:
- Passionate and interested in Sustainability and Corporate, Social, Responsibility (CSR)
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Constant and curious learner with a desire to continuously develop their skill set and knowledge base
- Familiar with Google Workspace (GMail/GSheet) or Microsoft Office package (Word and Excel primarily)
- Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work
- Willing to travel to alternative DPD locations and external events on an adhoc basis where required
- An individual who has the ability to welcome and adapt to change, within a forward-thinking business.
