International Desk Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of International Desk Manager.

In this role you will:
- Build and grow a strong network of Key Business Introducers across your markets (e.g., visa agencies, relocation firms, expat associations, employers and community groups)
- Generate new customer opportunities and strengthen HSBC’s international presence through engagement with external business introducers
- Partner closely with key stakeholders to create opportunities and referral pathways
- Act as an ambassador for the international proposition within HSBC
- Maintain oversight of customer pipelines and referrals, ensuring timely follow-up and clear MI
- Take ownership of customer dissatisfaction and complaints, driving effective, timely resolution
- Ensure adherence to cross-border guidelines and governance
- Travel within your agreed markets and attend events outside standard hours when needed

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- A genuinely entrepreneurial mindset—you enjoy building momentum from the ground up
- Proven B2B (business to business) networking and business development experience, with a track record of building long-term relationships (essential)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging diverse communities
- Excellent planning and organisation, with a clear sense of accountability and follow-through
- Experience in a customer-facing role within financial services along with a sound working knowledge of HSBC’s propositions (essential)
