Job Description

As an International Key Account Manager at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Your main roles and responsibilities are creating a sales plan to reach personal and team goals, maintain and grow existing clients, and generate new business.

  • 40% - Develop relationships with existing and new accounts on a local, national & international level
  • 10% - Manage and analyse large volumes of market information and data that will drive further sales
  • 20% - Co-ordinate the whole sales process, paying special attention to key features like meeting with clients, product specification, raw materials required and local or international needs
  • 20% - Maintain a high level of customer service to make sure that all aspects of any campaign runs smoothly, including artwork, the delivery of material and the overall delivery of the campaign
  • 10% - Generate and pass leads for any other specific clients and campaign opportunities as well as leveraging synergies from both the IKAM and UK sales operations to generate revenue

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Think Big: Position an appropriate international vision that will represent a compelling offer to our clients and increase Global market share
  • Own It: Follow up from campaigns and prospect and develop new advertisers and international media agencies
  • Keep it Simple: Monitor market requests and housekeeping in order to develop new products and create customised offers for national and international clients
  • Better Together: There is opportunity to travel, mainly to Italy but also to our European hubs

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Possessed the conviction and courage to challenge the market so that revenue is secured
  • Developed relationships with both existing and new clients, securing revenue for Global
  • Embedded and extended client relationships that presently exist, having sold the Global proposition and improved the international investment opportunities from Global’s Media’s clients.
  • Be able to articulate the valuable contributions of the new joined-up over-arching Global sales structure internationally

What You’ll Need

  • Flexibility: Flexible yet robust in positioning and securing international deals and subsequent revenue for Global
  • Communication: Great written and verbal communication in English
  • Sales Experience: We’d prefer you to have at least 3 years sales experience in media or advertising
  • Humour and positivity: We love to work with people with a positive attitude and a sense of humour
  • Perseverance: The desire to succeed and persevere in a competitive market
  • Building Trust: Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your team
