Role Description

The International Move Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Houghton Regis, responsible for managing end-to-end international moves for private and commercial clients. This role includes planning and organizing shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating with internal teams, shipping partners, and customs agents to ensure timely and compliant delivery. The coordinator will serve as a main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication, status updates, and guidance throughout their relocation. Daily tasks involve handling quotations, booking services, monitoring transit schedules, resolving issues or delays, and maintaining accurate records in company systems. The role also supports continuous improvement in processes and contributes to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.

  • Experience in logistics, international shipping, or relocation services, with a strong understanding of shipping processes and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and build positive relationships.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling contracts, customs forms, and other move-related documentation.
  • Comfort with using office software and digital systems for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
  • Ability to work effectively on-site within a team environment and collaborate with external partners and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of international customs regulations and import/export requirements is highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in a moving, storage, or freight forwarding company and relevant vocational training or education in logistics or business is an advantage.
