The Role
Operations Support Specialist — Technical Records and Document Control (Boeing P‑8 Poseidon support)
Provide technical records/document expertise while acting as the primary training and knowledge-transfer point of contact for a newly formed operator. Deliver best-practice training, on-the-job coaching, and development of procedures and materials to ensure the operator achieves sustainable, compliant Technical Records capability for scheduled, unscheduled, repair, and modification work.
This role is part of a support function assigned to a German customer providing expertise, training and advise to a newly formed fleet of Boeing P-8 Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
Candidate must hold, or be able to hold UK SC
Basic Qualifications:
- Fluent written and spoken English
Preferred Competencies:
- A good communicator, with a demonstrable ability to communicate technical work requirements
- Capable and experienced in sequencing and controlling demanding workloads, on time, to budget and to the required standard
- Capable of understanding and interpreting Technical data
- Able to work as a team member of a small group, assigned to locations away from home
- Ability to form strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse groups.

Preferred Education/Experience:
- Ideally educated in a relevant technical discipline
- Experience in Technical Records management or Documents Control in a CAMO or Maintenance Repair Organisation
- Military or Civil Aircraft Maintenance experience. P8 preferable
- Experience of GOLDesp and Form 700 series (RAF) training and use
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office with the ability to compile and present reports of a technical nature
