JOB TITLE: International Private Banking Relationship Associate
SALARY: £33,203
LOCATION(S): Isle of Man
HOURS: Full-time, 35 Hours
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.

The Crown Dependencies business is the fastest-growing segment within Lloyds Banking Group, so it's an exciting time to join and make a real difference.
Our International Private Banking (IPB) team is looking for a Relationship Associate to join our dynamic Relationship Growth team in the Isle of Man.
As a Relationship Associate within our International Private Banking team, you will play a key role in supporting a growing portfolio of high-net-worth clients. Your focus will be on nurturing strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and identifying opportunities to attract additional funds. This role is integral to achieving our strategic goal of increasing the number of clients with deposits of £250k and above, enhancing value and profitability through deeper client engagement.
There's a wealth of opportunities - many of our colleagues go on to gain industry qualifications or careers in the wider Group.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Client Relationship Support:
- Carry out daily procedural tasks such as managing deposits to support external and internal client relationships
- Join Relationship Managers on client appointments, providing support and follow-up actions
- Assist with progressing new account enquiries and collaborate closely with dedicated partners.

Operational Excellence:
- Work with other Associates to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the private banking desk, adapting to changing priorities to meet client needs
- Maintain compliance by working within current processes, systems, and procedures, and report simple non-compliance issues.
Growth and Acquisition:
- Identify opportunities to attract additional deposits from existing and new-to-bank clients
- Support Relationship Managers in executing strategies to deepen client relationships and consolidate assets.
Service Excellence:
- Deliver exemplary outcomes by providing tailored solutions and proactive support
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies at all times.
Personal Development:
- Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.

What we’re looking for?
- Relationship Building: Ability to quickly build relationships and understand customer needs
- Customer Focus: Strong focus on delivering great service and meeting customer needs
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to support customer needs and manage tasks efficiently
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
And experience of the following would be great:
- Minimum 1 year’s banking or business experience where you've had to deal with customers.
