Job Title: International Product Manager – Consumables
Location: Remote based; ideally in Europe, could also be USA
About the Role
At Getinge, we are committed to improving patient outcomes and saving lives. As an International Product manager, Consumables, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions that support healthcare professionals and patients every day.
This is a high-impact, commercially oriented role responsible for the end-to-end success of the CSSD/SPD portfolio across global markets, outside of the US (OUS). You will act as the strategic bridge between product development and market execution, working in lockstep with Commercial Operations and Global Sales Teams to drive organic growth and profitability.
This role requires a close, collaborative working relationship with the Head of Product Management USA to ensure global portfolio alignment, knowledge exchange, and the seamless rollout of North American innovations into international territories.
What you’ll do
- Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle: Product Generation/Roadmap plan. Develop product strategy serving as main input towards R&D development plan.
- Global Supplier Management: Working with Global Suppliers to ensure customer needs are met in line with the “buy” strategy where appropriate.
- Commercial Operations Collaboration: Partner with Comm-Ops to optimise global pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and supply chain logistics for CSSD Consumables.
- Global Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver high-level technical training and "reason-to-buy" kits for Global Sales Teams. You will be the go-to expert for overcoming technical objections during high-value hospital tenders.
- Distributor Management & Support: Work closely with international distributor networks to ensure brand consistency, provide technical troubleshooting for cleaning failures, and audit local marketing claims against global clinical data.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor global trends, identifying gaps and developing a Product roadmap to develop a viable Value Proposition.
- Market Development: Working with the Commercial Operation Team and Global Sales Teams to understand specific market requirements and strategise with the portfolio to deliver on Customer/Market requirements.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Bridge the gap between the lab (R&D) and the field, translating complex chemical efficacy data into clear, value-based messaging for clinical and procurement stakeholders.
- New Product Launches: Responsible for New Product Launches and developing plans with local markets and key stakeholders to drive launch excellence with strong follow up and reporting against defined KPI’s.
- US Collaboration: Head of Product Management USA to synchronise global roadmaps and adapt US-led product launches for international regulatory and clinical requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
