International Regional Sales Manager

Position Overview:
You will be responsible for driving sales growth across assigned international markets, working predominantly from our Ashbourne headquarters.
This is a fully office-based commercial role combining new business development, account growth, technical solution selling, and sales partner management. You will manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order, develop existing customer relationships, and work closely with international sales partners to increase market penetration and revenue.
This role is office-based five days per week at our Ashbourne, Derbyshire headquarters. It is not a remote, hybrid, or field-based sales position. International travel will be occasional and only where there is a clear commercial requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound international enquiries from initial contact through to order.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned markets.
- Develop existing customer accounts through repeat business, cross-selling, and new applications.
- Prepare quotations and provide consultative, technically informed solutions to customer requirements.
- Manage and develop international sales partners, supporting their pipeline, activity, and revenue performance.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring effective follow-up and forecasting.
- Build strong customer and partner relationships and identify opportunities for increased market penetration.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reporting.
Who we're looking for:
- Proven B2B sales experience within a technical, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong new business development and account management experience.
- A consultative, solution-focused approach to sales.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand customer applications, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience managing customers, territories, distributors, or sales partners.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and closing skills.
- Commercially focused, self-motivated, and highly organized, with strong pipeline management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Teams, PowerPoint, and CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Comfortable working predominantly from an office environment and managing international customers and partners remotely.

Experience within manufacturing, material handling, machinery, automation, or capital equipment would be highly advantageous. International/export sales experience and additional language skills would also be beneficial.
