International Sales Manager

Dungannon, Head Office UK-based | International Travel

Vickerstock is currently working exclusively with a leading Northern Ireland-based engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced International Sales Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business, with an established international customer base and ambitious plans for further global growth.

Your day to day

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in developing international markets through the management and growth of distributor and channel partner relationships.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing long-term relationships with international distributors and partners
  • Identifying new opportunities across target global markets
  • Supporting distributors with product knowledge, technical understanding and solution development
  • Driving sales growth and market development across assigned territories
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements
  • Managing pipelines, forecasts, KPIs and partner performance
  • Working closely with internal Product Solutions teams on bespoke customer requirements
  • Representing the business at international exhibitions, trade shows and distributor events

The Person

We're keen to speak with commercially driven individuals who have:

  • 2+ years' experience in sales, channel management, distributor management or business development
  • Experience managing international commercial relationships or distributor networks
  • A strong track record of developing relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • A genuine curiosity and willingness to develop technical product knowledge
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, recycling or capital equipment would be advantageous
  • The flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
