International Spa Trainer
About The Role
Join the Bamford Collection as our International Spa Trainer and play a pivotal role in sharing the Bamford philosophy with our retail and spa partners across the UK and internationally.
Based in Kingham, Gloucestershire, this exciting role combines training, education and brand storytelling, ensuring our partners deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect the highest standards of the Bamford brand. You'll design and deliver engaging retail and spa training programmes, support new product and treatment launches, and help develop new treatments and training materials that inspire confidence, knowledge and commercial success.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate trainer with a luxury retail or spa background who enjoys global travel, building relationships and bringing a premium brand to life.
This is a full-time role, based on 40 hours per week, competitive salary.
The role will also require flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays, when travelling.
Responsibilities
Training Strategy
- Develop and implement a global training framework for Bamford's wholesale retail and spa partners.
- Create engaging onboarding, certification and continuous development programmes that support business growth.
- Ensure all training reflects Bamford's brand values, service standards and wellbeing philosophy.
Spa & Treatment Training
- Deliver training on Bamford spa treatments, rituals and wellbeing practices to therapists and spa teams.
- Support new spa openings, treatment launches and menu updates.
- Maintain treatment consistency through certification, coaching and quality assurance.

Retail Product Training
- Design and deliver inspiring product training, educating partners on ingredients, benefits, sustainability and customer rituals.
- Equip retail teams with the confidence and skills to deliver exceptional client consultations and drive sales.
- Develop engaging training resources to support new product launches and ongoing learning.
Partner Development
- Deliver both in-person and virtual training across UK and international wholesale partners.
- Build strong relationships with partner teams, acting as their trusted training contact.
- Work collaboratively with Business Development and Account Managers to support partner success and commercial performance.
- Represent Bamford with professionalism, passion and expertise at every opportunity.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Measure the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, performance metrics and customer experience.
- Conduct regular partner visits to maintain brand standards and identify development opportunities.
- Continuously review and update training manuals, digital learning content and educational materials.
Skills & Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience delivering training within a luxury retail, beauty, wellness or spa environment.
- A recognised beauty therapy qualification and hands-on spa treatment experience.
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- A strong understanding of luxury customer service, retail sales and spa operations.
- Experience developing training materials, treatment protocols or learning programmes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and travel regularly.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for wellbeing, natural products and delivering exceptional brand experiences.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and internationally as required.
