Allocator One Group
Allocator One Group is a global investing platform redefining how institutional capital reaches private markets. We operate through two synergistic businesses:
Allocator One
Allocator One backs exceptional first- and second-time fund managers around the world as an anchor investor, effectively acting as “seed-investor + platform” for emerging VC funds.
Infra One
Our fund-ops and tech arm, provides the regulatory, administrative, and tech infrastructure that allows those new funds to scale rapidly and globally. We are already live and serving customers in the UK, US, Austria, Germany and launching Singapore, India and Luxembourg imminently.
Together, we deliver both the capital and the structure fund managers need—and in doing so build a global ecosystem of platforms, people, and ideas that reshape private markets.
Why this role is different
Unlike an advisory firm role, you will have end-to-end ownership of a real fund platform - seeing transactions from structuring through to LP reporting. You will work directly with investment and finance teams, help build the tax function from the ground up, and have meaningful exposure to four jurisdictions and a rapidly growing investor base. This is a role for someone who wants to go deep on fund taxation rather than broad across multiple client mandates.
This Role
This is a senior individual contributor role covering the full international tax compliance coordination for our fund platform across all four jurisdictions - the United Kingdom, the United States, Austria and Germany. While your core expertise and primary ownership sits in the UK and US tax landscape, you will coordinate external tax advisors across all jurisdictions, act as the internal tax expert for our finance and investment teams, and ensure seamless, timely compliance across the entire platform.
This is not a tax return preparation role. You coordinate, review, challenge and ensure delivery by external advisors - and you bring the expertise to know when something is right or wrong.
Tasks
UK & US (primary ownership)
- Own the end-to-end tax compliance process for all UK and US fund structures, including UK Limited Partnerships, LLPs and US LLC vehicles
- Coordinate external UK and US tax advisors; prepare documentation packages and critically review their output
- Manage UK partnership tax filings (SA800), corporation tax (CT600) and investor tax reporting schedules; coordinate US tax filings (Form 1065, K-1, K-3)
- Coordinate ERS reporting obligations, including Section 431 elections and annual HMRC filings
- Prepare and review investor tax letters for UK and US LPs
- Monitor and advise on UK carried interest regime developments (post-April 2026 income tax treatment) and implications for fund structures and carry recipients

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
