A global PE backed business and leader in its field is searching for an International Tax Manager to join the tax team in London.

As an International Tax Manager, you will report to the Senior International Tax Manager and work alongside the wider European Tax team. This is a highly collaborative team with opportunity to get involved in a broad range of different tax projects, while being supported by the tax and shared services teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage the Group’s transfer pricing operating model and compliance obligations (master file, local files, CbCR), working closely with the global outsource provider and group’s financial controllers.
  • Support the Tax team across a range of diverse and critical projects for the Group globally, including cross-border financing, M&A, restructuring, and management of tax audits.
  • Maintain current knowledge of domestic and international tax laws affecting the Company in the countries of operation and update relevant stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Partner with the business to develop successful long-term strategic relationships advising on operations, transactions and other activities to achieve shared organizational objectives.
  • Supporting the Tax team to deliver the Group’s tax compliance obligations globally through managing a combination of in-house finance resources and external advisors.
  • Provide support with the quarterly and year-end closing processes. Lead efforts in the review of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions and annual disclosures for the group (prepared by global outsourcer). Coordinate with external service providers and financial statement auditors as required.
  • Maintain the strategies and policies for transfer pricing and withholding tax, delivering training to the controllers who are responsible for execution.
  • Support the Head of Tax and Senior International Tax Manager on ad hoc projects as required.
  • Prepare modeling related to corporate initiatives and legislative proposals.
  • Maintain current knowledge of domestic and international tax laws affecting the Company in the countries of operation and update relevant stakeholders as appropriate.

To be considered for this position, you should ideally be ACA, CTA, or ACCA qualified with demonstratable international corporate tax and IFRS tax accounting experience. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.

Additional Information

Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship.

This opportunity offers £75,000-£90,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits. The tax team a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office.
