Role Overview
Behind every Aston Martin that moves across international borders is a team making sure the right processes, controls and compliance measures are in place.
As an International Trade & Customs Supervisor, you'll join a specialist team responsible for supporting Aston Martin's global trade and customs operations. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales and Aftersales, you'll help ensure the business remains compliant with international trade requirements while supporting the efficient movement of goods around the world.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the activities of our Trade & Customs Analysts, helping to prioritise workload, maintain high standards and ensure compliance obligations are met.
- Involved in a broad range of customs activities, from monitoring import and export processes and supporting ATA Carnet compliance, through to reviewing customs information, identifying risks and helping resolve operational issues.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for customs-related queries, particularly within Aftersales, while supporting projects focused on customs procedures and technology improvements.
- Develop standard operating procedures, conduct risk assessments and provide regular updates on operational performance and compliance activities.

Requirements
- Strong customs and international trade experience.
- Detailed understanding of UK and EU customs legislation.
- Experience within manufacturing, automotive, logistics, retail or another international business environment where customs compliance is an important part of day-to-day operations.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple priorities.
- Enjoy building relationships, solving problems and working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
- Strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
