International Vice President of Business Development
Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished International Vice President of Business Development to drive growth across Central Europe, Ireland and the United Kingdom by developing executive-level relationships and positioning our organization as a trusted technology partner.
This leader will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing opportunities across strategic technology solutions, and professional services, with a particular focus on the technology platforms and transformation initiatives that are central to modern healthcare organizations.
The International VP will engage healthcare executives around their most critical technology priorities, including EHR implementation, workforce/staffing, data & healthcare analytics, and AI—and connect those needs to the organization's consulting and technology capabilities.
The ideal candidate is a consultative, relationship-driven business development executive who can move comfortably between strategic business conversations with C-Suite leaders and detailed discussions around technology transformation, implementation and optimization.
Healthcare Technology Solutions
The International VP will be expected to understand and sell solutions across several interconnected areas of the healthcare IT environment:
EHR & Clinical Technology
Develop relationships and opportunities surrounding the EHR ecosystem and clinical technology environment, including:
- EHR strategy, optimization, modernization, and support
- EHR implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations
- Interoperability and healthcare data exchange
- Interface development, integration, and application modernization
- EHR infrastructure, cloud, hosting, and operational support
- Workflow optimization and technology-enabled clinical transformation
- Advisory and professional services supporting major EHR initiatives
The International VP should be able to engage healthcare IT leaders around the operational and financial challenges associated with maintaining, optimizing, and transforming their EHR environments.
Data, Analytics & AI
Develop and expand relationships around the rapidly growing need for healthcare data, analytics, and AI capabilities, including:
- Enterprise data strategy and modernization
- Data platforms, data integration, and data governance
- Business intelligence and advanced analytics
- Clinical, operational, and financial analytics
- Data engineering and cloud data platforms
- AI strategy, readiness, and implementation
- Generative AI and emerging healthcare AI use cases
- Predictive analytics and decision-support solutions
- Data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI
- Managed data and analytics services
- Professional services supporting analytics and AI transformation

The International VP should be able to articulate how organizations can move from fragmented data and disconnected systems toward trusted, actionable intelligence and AI-enabled decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute an international business development strategy focused on healthcare organizations and technology leaders.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across strategic solutions and professional services.
- Identify new prospects, expand existing relationships, and develop strategic accounts.
- Lead complex, consultative business development engagements involving multiple executive and operational stakeholders.
- Develop and close opportunities spanning:
- EHR and clinical application services
- Data, analytics, and AI solutions
- Cloud and infrastructure transformation
- Cybersecurity and technology modernization
- Strategic IT consulting and professional services
- Own opportunities from initial discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Consistently achieve or exceed international bookings, revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
Executive Relationship Development
- Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CFOs, CMIOs, Chief Data Officers, Chief Digital Officers, and other healthcare executives.
- Understand the intersection between clinical, financial, operational, and technology priorities.
- Facilitate executive conversations around modernization, transformation, cost optimization, risk, data strategy, and AI adoption.
- Position the organization as a strategic advisor
- Develop long-term account strategies
Strategic Solutions & Professional Services
- Lead discovery sessions to uncover strategic business and technology challenges.
- Collaborate with solution architects, consultants, engineers, data professionals, and delivery leaders to develop differentiated solutions.
- Translate complex EHR, data, analytics, AI, and infrastructure capabilities into compelling business outcomes.
- Develop executive-level proposals, presentations, business cases, and value propositions.
- Develop land-and-expand strategies that grow relationships across multiple technology domains.

Market Development
- Track healthcare technology trends, including EHR modernization, cloud adoption, data modernization, and AI.
- Build relationships with technology vendors, strategic partners, and healthcare industry organizations.
- Represent the company at healthcare conferences, executive forums, and industry events.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive international experience in healthcare IT, technology consulting, or enterprise technology Business Development.
- Proven success selling complex technology solutions to healthcare organizations.
- Demonstrated experience selling professional services, consulting, or strategic technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of healthcare technology environments, particularly EHR, data/analytics, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Established relationships with healthcare executive decision-makers.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder Business Development cycles with significant contract values.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding Business Development quotas and revenue targets.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong consultative selling and business-development capabilities.
- Ability to translate technology challenges into business and clinical outcomes.
- Willingness to travel where needed.
