The placement
Wander
offers paid placements for emerging talent looking to gain professional experience in generative film and visual effects production. Placements are considered across all disciplines (creative, technical, and production) and are tailored to your background and where you are in your training.
We are a small studio, which means placement candidates get genuine exposure to live production work rather than peripheral tasks. You will be working alongside experienced professionals from ILM and Framestore backgrounds in an environment that is deliberately at the frontier of how the industry is changing.
Who we consider
We consider placement applications on a rolling basis. If you are currently in education or recently graduated and want to understand what a career in generative VFX production looks like from the inside, we would like to hear from you.

The environment
Wander
is at an early and formative stage. A placement here is not a passive experience. You will be in the room where the studio is being built, working on real production problems alongside people who have spent careers at the top of the industry.
We take placements seriously. If the fit is right, we invest in the people who come through the door.
