Position And Responsibilities

Support senior bankers in Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds & International Public Sector Coverage in London with business development and client activity to establish and grow Natixis relationship with those clients.

The intern will play an important role in supporting business development, client relationship development, internal coordination, deal origination with Banks, AM & IPS Coverage clients in London. She / He will collaborate with the senior bankers based in London. The candidate will work closely with Business Lines including Real Assets, Global Markets, Investment Banking. This role will give the candidate the opportunity to get a 360 degrees view of investment banking.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Assisting the team with business development to deepen our knowledge of clients, their investments and their needs, e.g., conducting research and filtering of our clients' portfolios and activities, creation of databases to track these
  • Assisting with marketing pitch preparation and research.
  • Client mapping and identification of main touch points. Help on the organization of internal review on key clients. Help senior bankers on the definition of the action plan for each client and next steps – liaise with teams internally on their progress of each next step.
  • Assisting with financial modelling and credit analysis for financing transactions.
  • Gathering and analysing financial data, reporting variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Prepare client coverage memos and client action plans.
  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance requirements as issued from time to time, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual, Compliance policies and procedures, Security policies & procedures; Financial Security requirements, including but not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Solid level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
