Interventions Facilitator
Location: HMP Doncaster, Doncaster, DN5 8UX
Salary: £27,304.77 per annum plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time, permanent

As an Interventions Facilitator in our Justice and Immigration team, you’ll deliver accredited and non-accredited offending behaviour programmes that support rehabilitation and positive change. Using evidence-based approaches, you’ll help individuals develop the skills, understanding, and confidence they need to move towards a more positive future.

You’ll play a key role in helping participants reflect on their behaviours, overcome barriers to change, and build better outcomes for themselves and those around them. What you’ll do as an Interventions Facilitator
- Deliver structured group and one-to-one programme sessions using core psychological principles and motivational techniques
- Assess participants’ readiness for treatment and identify individual responsivity needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including session notes and post-programme reports
- Build positive and professional relationships that encourage engagement and behavioural change
- Reflect on your practice and continuously develop across the six core competencies
- Attend supervision sessions, complete mandatory training, and support wider establishment objectives

- Experience facilitating group work and/or supporting individuals with complex or challenging needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build trust, establish rapport, and motivate individuals who may be resistant to change
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
- A collaborative, reflective, and growth-focused approach to work

Vetting and checks
Job offers are subject to Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 checks with Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, satisfactory employment references and occupational health checks. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All roles are subject to random alcohol and drug testing.
