Role
The International Treasury team is responsible for Balance Sheet Management and International Liquidity across the global enterprise outside the US.
The successful candidate will sit with the balance sheet traders and International Liquidity team in London. This role will be supporting the team with a varied range of activities that will give a high level of exposure to the Global Treasury function.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Collateral programme management: Work with the global team to coordinate the collateral management NTGS/NTGL Euroclear/Clearstream. Treasury conduct regular Collateral optimisation.
- Net Interest Income: Work with internal partners to maximise income on nostro agents. Utilise Alladin to conduct analysis of the International and global securities portfolios. Understand how to maximise income. Improve coordination for between regional and corporate teams.
- Liquidity metrics coordination: Oversee/streamline the process for daily liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) projections for NTGS and Melbourne. Oversee/streamline the process for Daily Net Overnight positions for Sterling and Euros. Annual calibration of Orange/Amber thresholds for NTGS LCR, NTGS NSFR, NTGS LAB, NTGL LMR, TNTC-LB LAB.
- Contingency Funding Plan (CFP) coordination: Annual test support: meeting invites, notifications, note-taking. Annual refresh of affiliates CFP: NTGS/NTGL/TNTC-IB.
- BCP coordination: Maintain the Annual Strategic goals tracking and ensure this links in with broader Treasury group. Ensure Audit points are tracked.

Skills/ Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
- Strong leadership potential and a passion for developing others.
- Experience: A college or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or other related field is preferred. 0-4 years of prior experience working in a financial institution, regulatory agency, consulting firm, or college business/financial courses with 0-2 years analysis experience dealing with intraday requirements.
