The Opportunity
This is a high profile opportunity to shape the future of the digital workplace within a leading global law firm. You will have the opportunity to influence how our people access knowledge, collaborate and work, with AI and emerging technology at the heart of the transformation.
We are working with a leading Global Law firm who are looking for an experienced Intranet Platform Owner to lead the strategic development, governance and operation of global intranet.
This role will be responsible for shaping the intranet into an intelligent, AI-enabled digital workplace that connects people with knowledge, expertise and business services through enterprise search, Microsoft Copilot, personalised experiences and agentic solutions.
You will chair the Intranet Governance Group, work closely with senior stakeholders across the firm, lead a virtual team of technology professionals and manage key external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the strategic roadmap for the firm's global intranet, driving continuous improvement in usability, personalisation and productivity.
- Lead the development of AI-enabled capabilities, including enterprise search, knowledge discovery, summarisation, personalised content and agentic workflows.
- Chair the Intranet Governance Group and ensure alignment with the firm's wider digital and technology strategy.
- Drive adoption of AI, Microsoft 365 and digital workplace capabilities across the firm.
- Lead global intranet content owners and digital champions, fostering engagement and innovation.
- Establish best-practice standards for content, UX, accessibility, security, data quality and performance.
- Oversee the strategic use of Microsoft SharePoint Online and Viva Engage, ensuring alignment with the wider Microsoft technology ecosystem.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, lawyers, knowledge teams and business services.
- Manage technology partners, budgets and service performance, ensuring delivery of value and continuous improvement.

About You

You will have:
- Significant experience managing an enterprise intranet, digital workplace or similar platform, ideally within a global professional services or legal environment.
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI-enabled search or knowledge solutions.
- An understanding of agentic AI and its potential to transform the digital workplace.
- Strong knowledge of information architecture, content management, enterprise search, UX and governance.
- Proven experience developing technology roadmaps and delivering complex programmes.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A strong interest in AI, automation, emerging technology and user-centred design.
- The ability to balance innovation with security, accessibility, governance and operational resilience.
Please note the hybrid working requirement for this team is standard 60/40 onsite
