NINTEL is seeking an IONM Specialist based in London

NINTEL is seeking an IONM Specialist based in London, with flexibility to travel to hospital sites as caseload requires. You'll provide real-time intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during surgery, helping protect patient neurological function. Success means accurate, timely monitoring and clear communication with surgical teams under pressure. This role sits within our clinical team and is key to how NINTEL delivers safe, high-quality IONM services across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Perform intraoperative monitoring during surgery, using brainstem, brain, or spinal cord monitoring techniques (at least one specialism required).
  • Set up and troubleshoot monitoring equipment, ensuring accurate readings and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate findings promptly to the surgical team, flagging any changes indicating risk to neurological function.
  • Prepare post-operative monitoring reports per hospital and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to hospital sites across London and the wider UK as scheduling requires.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and support related administrative processes.

Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in IONM, with expertise in at least one of: brainstem, brain, or spinal cord monitoring.
  • Relevant qualification/certification in neurophysiology or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel flexibly, with a base in London.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
