About The Role
An Intruder Alarm Engineer is sought in Gloucestershire for a full-time, permanent post paying £32,000 to £36,000, dependent on experience. Working from a field-based position, the successful candidate will install, commission, service, maintain and repair intruder systems at commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and residential premises. Job Description
The Intruder Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of security systems, ensuring customers receive a reliable and professional service at all times. Working across a variety of sites throughout Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, you will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and support customers with technical advice where required.

Role And Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of intruder alarm systems.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
- Programming and testing security equipment.
- Responding to customer call-outs and service requests.
- Providing technical advice and support to customers.
- Completing service reports and documentation accurately.
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach whilst on site.
About You
- Previous experience within the Intruder Alarm or Security Systems industry.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with a variety of alarm systems and manufacturers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Professional and proactive attitude.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable
- Experience with CCTV, Access Control or Fire Alarm systems.
- FIA, ECS or CSCS qualifications.
- IPAF or PASMA certification.
