Intruder Alarm Security Engineer
(Full-Time | CCTV Experience Preferred | Access Control Advantageous)
Location: Midlands, Worcestershire and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience), plus standby allowance, overtime payments and overnight inconvenience allowance.
Holiday Entitlement: 26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Intruder Alarm Security Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
This role is primarily focused on the installation, servicing, fault finding and maintenance of intruder alarm systems. Experience with CCTV systems is highly desirable, while exposure to access control systems would be beneficial.
Working closely with fellow engineers and the Engineering Manager, you'll help deliver a high standard of service across a wide range of customer sites. Whether working independently or alongside colleagues on larger projects, you'll play an important part in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
Intruder Alarm Systems (Primary Focus)
- Install, service and maintain intruder alarm systems in accordance with current BS EN/PD standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Commission new systems and ensure installations meet customer and industry standards.
CCTV Systems
- Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Diagnose and repair CCTV equipment where required.
Access Control Systems
- Support the installation and maintenance of access control systems as required.
General Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to deliver projects and service visits on time.
- Support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers through professional service.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Stay away overnight when required.
- Attend company meetings and training sessions.
- Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and workmanship.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience installing, servicing and fault-finding on intruder alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and/or Galaxy.
- A positive team player with excellent communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
- Flexibility to stay away overnight when required.
- Ability to successfully pass BS7858 Security Screening.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Dahua CCTV systems.
- Basic knowledge of access control systems, ideally Paxton.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and continue developing your technical skills.
