Electrical Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery of innovative and sustainable building services solutions across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments, contributing to projects from concept design through to completion as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design electrical building services systems including power, lighting, small power and emergency systems.
- Prepare calculations, specifications, reports and technical design documentation.
- Coordinate with other electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Support projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring successful delivery.
- Attend client and design team meetings, providing technical expertise when required.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practice.
- Contribute to the delivery of sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions.

What You'll Need
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience working within a building services consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical building services design principles.
- Experience using software Revit MEP, Dialux, Amtech, or Lightning Design.
- Progress towards Chartership would be advantageous.
