Role: Inventory Administrator
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: £26,227.5 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm, Monday – Friday

Role Purpose
The role of an Inventory Administrator to provide support in the reconciliation of stock files on the Warehouse Management System (Dispatcher) and the group operating system (CS/3). Duties will vary due to stock movements across multiple NDC departments and multiple operating systems.
The role is a hybrid of office-based activities and warehouse work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the warehouse management in the day-to-day reconciliation of and adjustments between Dispatcher and CS/3
- Monitor and record daily stock adjustment figures
- Control the warehouse stock balance report and identify issues to be resolved
- Run a daily inspection report and investigate discrepancies
- Identify and correct allocation issues
- Control of bonded stock issues and adjustments
- Complete inventory related Tasks raised to Inventory team via Task Manager
- Ensure you adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and that any incidents are reported and logged in accordance with company guidelines. Paying particular attention to the Traffic Management Policy and Risk Assessments in force within the NDC
- To undertake Health and Safety activities commensurate with post and or SCC Group Health and Safety Policy
- Ensure you are working to the current ISO processes as defined within SharePoint
- You must ensure that a high level of focus and awareness is demonstrated with regard to security of both the site and the stock holding
- You must maintain a good working relationship with your team and promote a team working environment

Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of in-house stock management systems
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience of monitoring stock within a distribution environment is essential
- Ability to maintain and improve stock within a distribution environment is essential
- Ability to maintain and improve stock control procedures
- Ability to liaise with the sales and purchasing functions on stock issues
