Viewings & Inventory Associate

The organisation

Cobalt is partnering with a well-established, privately backed Build-to-Rent operator with a portfolio of around 2,500 homes and ambitious expansion plans across the UK. As the business continues to grow in the Midlands, they are looking to appoint a Viewings & Inventory Associate to support prospective and existing residents throughout their moving journey.

The role

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused property professional to join a growing Build-to-Rent operator on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract initially. As a Viewings & Inventory Associate, you'll showcase homes, support residents throughout their moving journey and ensure properties are ready for occupation while working across developments in the Nottingham area alongside the Resident Services and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property viewings and promote the benefits of each home.
  • Support applicants through the lettings process from viewing to move-in.
  • Complete inventories, check-ins and check-outs, including relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to prepare homes for new residents.
  • Maintain accurate records using the property management systems.
  • Build positive relationships with residents to support retention.
  • Identify and escalate resident concerns where appropriate.
  • Work with local partners to help create successful communities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
