We are looking for an intelligent, self-motivated Inventory Manager to join our UK team, based in our showroom in Central London. As the Inventory Manager, you will take responsibility for a showroom environment that is constantly changing. Due to our exciting and unique business model, you will work with merchandise and a retail space that changes weekly. You will report to the dedicated Account Manager and closely collaborate with the Showroom Manager, focusing on managing a team of two for our weekly delivery and inventory operations.

Mission

Role Purpose

The Inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day inventory operations, ensuring stock accuracy, assisting with goods in and goods out processes, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying stock quantities against delivery documentation.
  • Ensure stock is accurately checked, labelled, barcoded, and stored in the correct locations.
  • Support regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to the Inventory Manager.
  • Assist with maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring inventory records are updated promptly.
  • Monitor stock movements and report any missing, damaged, or incorrectly located items.

Goods In & Goods Out

  • Process incoming stock and verify quantities, descriptions, and pricing information.
  • Pick, prepare, and pack orders for dispatch and delivery.
  • Ensure all goods movements are recorded accurately within inventory systems.
  • Prepare dispatch documentation and support delivery scheduling.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock databases.
  • Update and manage inventory spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist in producing weekly stock reports, reconciliation reports, and ageing reports.
  • Support the investigation of stock variances and maintain records of corrective actions.
  • Ensure all stock documentation is filed and maintained accurately.

Operational Support

  • Support the organisation of stockrooms and storage areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with product pricing, tagging, and stock replenishment activities.
  • Work closely with the Inventory Manager and wider team to support stock availability and operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.

  • Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office package with advanced Excel skills
