Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in stock control or warehouse operations? Do you enjoy investigating discrepancies and using systems and data to ensure inventory accuracy? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As an Inventory Clerk, you'll play a key role in maintaining stock integrity, conducting inventory checks, resolving stock issues, and supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse while delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
A Typical Day May Involve
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock records, ensuring inventory levels within the warehouse management system (WMS) reflect physical stock holdings.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory checks, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Produce accurate inventory reports and support stock-related analysis to help drive operational performance.
- Act as a key point of contact for stock-related queries, working closely with operational teams and customers to resolve issues effectively.
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining stock integrity, adhering to inventory procedures, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.

This Role Would Suit People Who
- Have previous inventory or stock control experience within a warehouse, essential.
- Have a keen eye for detail and enjoy investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and solving problems.
- Are confident communicators who can build positive relationships with colleagues, operational teams, and customers.
- Are comfortable using IT systems, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel, to manage and analyse inventory data.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and are committed to delivering high standards of accuracy, safety, and service.
