Inventory Manager
My client—a leading sportswear brand—is looking for an organised, data-driven, and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee stock levels, streamline supply chain operations, and ensure optimal inventory accuracy across our channels.
As the Inventory Manager, you will take full ownership of their inventory control processes, stock forecasting, and warehouse flow.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong analytical mindset combined with hands-on logistics expertise.
Inventory Manager - The Role:
The role would be 80% London based, with the willingness to travel approximately 20% of your time to Netherlands, UK DC’s or potentially other European locations.

- Maintain accurate stock records, perform regular cycle counts, and coordinate physical inventory audits.
- Analyse sales data, seasonality, and market trends to forecast future stock needs and establish reorder points.
- Implement best practices for stock rotation and space utilisation
- Warehouse operations, stock accuracy, location, and movement
- Procedures, maintaining, reviewing, and optimizing procedure
- Oversee inventory accuracy, reporting, and traceability
- Oversee system synchronisation and inaccuracy reporting between Webshop, ERP, and WMS
- Inventory write-off, measured against contractual KPI’s
- Optimising warehouse processes, ABC classification, stock movement optimization

Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience as Inventory manager.
- Preferably with experience as inventory controller, analyst, or comparable position.
- Hands-on and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
- Must be adaptable to change, and happy to get stuck in.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in managing a 3PL is a must.
- Ideally the candidate also has experience in the Footwear & Apparel industry.
- Structured with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytic, advanced Excel knowledge, Experienced in ERP and WMS systems.
