Inventory Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and driven Inventory Manager to oversee stock management across the Corby and Hams Hall sites. This leadership role focuses on efficient inventory planning, accuracy, and operational excellence across both locations.
As the Inventory Manager, you will:
- Directly manage two Inventory Supervisors (one per site), providing guidance, structure, and support.
- Ensure stock is optimised, aligned with operational needs, and cost-effective.

Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic inventory plans, forecasting stock requirements up to 12 months in advance.
- Oversee stock allocation decisions, directing products to the most appropriate storage solutions (e.g., AutoStore, racking).
- Support supervisors in delivering weekly and monthly stock plans.
- Maintain accurate cycle counting processes across both sites.
- Enforce high standards of housekeeping and stock control.
- Analyse and improve inventory accuracy and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations and Key Account Managers to ensure smooth, efficient warehouse operations.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience in inventory control within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong strategic planning and forecasting skills.
- Relevant experience in managing or mentoring teams.
- A solid understanding of warehouse systems and storage solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail.
