Here at GXO, we're looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our Primark operation in Lutterworth on a 9-month fixed term contract. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring stock accuracy, integrity, and visibility across the site, while leading a dedicated inventory team and acting as a key point of contact for our customer. You'll play a critical role in maintaining operational performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring inventory processes support both customer expectations and business objectives. This is a 9-month FTC position working Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30

- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £48,000.00 pro rata, and 33 days annual leave (inc bank holidays), pro rata.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead all inventory activities across the site, ensuring stock accuracy, integrity, and compliance with operational standards
- Manage cycle counts, perpetual inventory checks, reconciliations, and reporting to support customer and business requirements
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, providing accurate management information and operational updates
- Develop, coach, and motivate the inventory team, creating a culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive process improvements across inventory operations, working collaboratively with operational, finance, and IT teams to enhance performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous inventory or stock management experience within a warehouse, logistics, retail, or eCommerce environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with customers
- Experience using warehouse management systems, with JDA knowledge highly advantageous
- A results-driven mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities
