Job summary – What to expect:
As an Inventory Operator in our Mountpark Packaging site, you will learn to manage inventory processes at a basic level and carries out a limited range of tasks in an assigned area under tight supervision.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out the functions in your assigned area of work in accordance with company procedures, work instructions and systems.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations including the safe use of equipment (i.e. machinery, lift truck, manual handling equipment) and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Suggesting small or limited continuous improvement initiatives
- Correct application of the different company systems in a very specific defined area.
- Limited involvement in investigating and resolving issues in an assigned area, communicating where necessary any relevant information to the Team Leader or Senior Operator to ensure minimum disruption and maximum service levels.
- Focusing on basic processes (limited in number) which could include Picking, Packstation Scanning, Pre-Sort, Machine Over labelling, fitting set production, receiving, put away, replenishment, assist re-work and cycle counting.
