Inventory Operations Specialist
Join SharkNinja’s TikTok Shop (TTS) business and learn inventory operations and assortment planning from the ground up. You will work alongside the DTC Inventory & Planning Manager, Ops and category owners to keep the channel stocked against the forecast, flag out-of-stock risk early, and help shape the range. You will build real demand scenarios and bet cases that inform buying and phasing decisions, with the guidance and development to grow into a specialist planning role.
What you will do
- Support day-to-day TTS inventory operations, using the forecast, live demand and commercial bets to spot out-of-stock risk early and propose alternatives before sales are lost.
- Help pressure-test the forecast through a supply lens, and review GM% and ASP to protect a healthy channel P&L.
- Work with Ops teams on allocation and stock transfer information, helping keep DTC/TTS splits aligned, close gaps with category owners, and flag expected sales spikes so warehouse and carrier capacity can scale.
- Help identify excess and obsolete stock early and contribute ideas to clear it while protecting margin (bundling, live-event features, pricing or promotional mechanics).
- Support launch planning for new products: sizing launch quantities and phasing stock to cover the critical first weeks of sell-through.
- Contribute to TikTok Shop assortment strategy by identifying range gaps, helping build the case for TTS exclusives, and reviewing whether bigger bets paid back so learnings feed the next round.
- Build demand scenarios and bet cases that inform range, buy and phasing decisions, supporting the top-down forecast with revenue and SKU-level assumptions.
- Help ensure stock is in place ahead of major live events and peak trading, modelling upside scenarios so availability never caps a breakout moment.
- Take part in planning cadences (weekly trade, monthly forecast reviews, range checkpoints), helping inputs land on time and decisions rest on a shared view.
- Use internal tools such as Power BI, and AI technology, to produce regular reporting and data visualisations on stock volumes, risk and opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
