About us

Company Shop Group (CSG), part of Biffa, is the largest commercial redistributor of surplus food and household products in the UK. We enable some of the biggest retailers, manufacturers, food service and logistics providers to unlock value from surplus stock, which may have otherwise gone to waste. The surplus we handle is redistributed through our Company Shop stores and our award-winning social enterprise Community Shop where we build stronger individuals and more confident communities. Working with our partners, we deliver an incredible impact and we're proud to be a good business doing good. We believe different ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds are key to developing a creative and effective working environment which is why you’ll find us championing diversity and equality at every turn.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Inventory Control

  • Conduct stock investigations on stock at risk. Using root cause analysis and creating stock investigation reports.
  • Conduct cycle count exercises within the warehouses to ensure locational stock integrity.
  • Conduct investigations into non-picked stock, providing investigations reports to challenge the Operations team, and support picking fulfillment.
  • Management of “Quarantined” stock, ensuring relevant systematic transactions are completed.
  • Conducting stock adjustments to rectify issues within the database under pre-established guidelines.
  • Liaise and support the Compliance team in completion of product withdrawals and managing returns from stores. Ensuring that the system transfers have been completed correctly, and stock returned is re-distributed into the network in a timely manner.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
