Inventory & Stores Coordinator
The Inventory & Stores Coordinator is responsible for the efficient management of all incoming goods, stock movements, replenishment, storage areas, returns, and waste within the roastery. The role ensures that stock is received accurately, stored correctly, replenished as required, and recorded promptly within the company’s stock management systems.
Working closely with the Roastery and wider Operations teams, the Inventory & Stores Coordinator will maintain an organised, safe, and efficient stores environment while ensuring stock availability and accurate inventory records.
What you'll be doing:
- 40hrs a week (Monday - Friday role 0830 - 1630) including a daily 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Goods In & Stock Management
- Manage the day-to-day Goods In process, ensuring deliveries are received, checked, and stored accurately.
- Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation, identifying any discrepancies or damages.
- Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored, and rotated to maintain an efficient stock management system.
- Replenish current stock throughout the roastery to ensure production and operational areas have the materials they require.
- Monitor available storage capacity and proactively create space ahead of expected deliveries.
- Maintain clean, organised, and clearly labelled storage areas.
- Complete end-of-day stock replenishment and ensure all areas are appropriately stocked for the following day.
- Update the stock management/API system as goods are received to ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.

Returns Management
- Manage all incoming and outgoing returns, ensuring goods are correctly recorded and processed.
- Liaise with relevant internal teams and suppliers regarding damaged, incorrect, or unwanted deliveries.
- Ensure returned stock is appropriately quarantined, restocked, disposed of, or returned to suppliers as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all returns and associated stock movements.
Waste Management
- Manage coffee waste and general waste across the roastery.
- Ensure waste is correctly segregated, stored, and disposed of in line with company procedures.
- Monitor waste levels and maintain clean and safe waste storage areas.
- Support initiatives to reduce unnecessary stock and coffee waste where possible.

Administration
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders & deliveries.
- Maintain accurate Goods In and stock records on google sheets.
- Ensure all relevant stock movements are recorded promptly and accurately.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, hardworking and dependable, punctual and willing to get stuck in.
- Attention to detail, takes care to get products, quantities and orders right.
- Team player, works well with others, communicates positively and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Follows processes and instructions, particularly around quality, hygiene and safety.
- Open to sharing ideas and learning new tasks, and equipment.
