Inventory and Supply Manager

Location: Salford (Hybrid Working Available)
Contract: Full-time | Permanent

About Mawdsleys

At Mawdsleys, we're a leading pharmaceutical service provider and the UK's largest independent pharmaceutical wholesaler. With over 200 years of heritage, we play a vital role in ensuring medicines reach healthcare providers and patients safely, efficiently and reliably.

We're proud to have recently been recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026—an achievement based on feedback from our colleagues that reflects our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.

We're now looking for an experienced Inventory & Supply Manager to join our Hospital Division Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Hospital Distribution Buying Team, influence inventory strategy and help shape the continued growth of one of the UK's most respected pharmaceutical businesses.

The Role

As our Inventory & Supply Manager, you'll lead the Hospital Distribution Buying Team, ensuring the right balance between product availability, customer service, working capital and supply risk. You'll play a key role in developing inventory strategies, driving operational performance and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Working closely with Commercial, Client Relationship Managers and the wider Procurement team, you'll help ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting the growth of the Hospital Division.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
