Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby office.

Contract Type: This role is a part-time position, 18.75 hours, ideally Monday, Tuesday and Permanent

The Opportunity

Supporting Inventory Planners by maintaining accurate data in SAP and Blue Yonder to enable effective demand and supply planning. Managing purchase orders, inbox queries, and supply plans to align with inventory strategies. Contributing to stock optimisation, process improvement, and ROI through collaborative working.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing administrative support to the Inventory Planning Team to ensure the Blue Yonder planning tool has accurate information to plan against
  • Managing an email inbox, actioning, and responding to various queries
  • Managing Purchase Order Book to ensure it meets Demand Forecast including expediting and rescheduling
  • Proactively seek to continuously improve processes
  • Managing Supply Plan in line with Category and Cell Inventory Strategies with updating SAP/Blue Yonder with correct information

  • Optimise Return on Investment (ROI) through cross-functional improvement initiatives, implementation of established industry best practices, and employing a Total Cost of Ownership approach
  • Support Inventory Control in mitigating Excess inventory whilst keeping within Category and Cell Stocking Policies

Future Key Accountabilities

  • Work in conjunction with Supply Chain Services Manager on continuously improving the KPIs for the defined cell
  • Support Inventory Control in mitigating Excess inventory whilst keeping within Category and Cell Stocking Policies
  • Resolve queries regarding product deliveries, working closely with Operations
  • Support Buying teams in improving or maintaining vendor performance and identifying cost reductions
  • Work closely with Demand Planning to ensure Supply Plan meets customer requirements
  • Be key interface for relevant vendor Supply Plan enquiries for both external (vendors) and internal stakeholders such as IC, Demand Planning, Product, and Operations
  • Supporting and managing Services team functions
