Investigation Assistant

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investigation Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating Discussions: Arrange and facilitate discussions between caseworkers and experts, ensuring compliance with agreed guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work both independently and collaboratively within a small team to meet service and output targets while adhering to service level agreements.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the in-house CRM system and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Customer Liaison: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers via telephone and written communication.
- Email Monitoring: Oversee the team email account, promptly addressing inquiries from internal colleagues and medical experts.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the department and the wider organisation.
- Process Improvement: Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to enhance processes within the team and the organisation.
- Compliance and Confidentiality: Support the organisation's information security policies and maintain confidentiality in all communications.

Essential Criteria:
- Customer Service Excellence: Proven ability to meet the needs of internal and external customers with a positive approach.
- Confident Communication: Ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of individuals via telephone and email.
- IT Proficiency: Skilled in using IT systems, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
- Data Input Skills: Demonstrated ability to input data accurately and efficiently, with basic analytical skills for processing correspondence.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, capable of prioritising workloads to meet departmental SLAs.
- Policy Adherence: Experience working in compliance with established policies and procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Clear Communication: Excellent written communication skills, ensuring information is concise, factual, and presented to a high standard.
- Understanding of Data Protection: Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and information security.
