PPU/PVP Investigative Consultants
We are currently recruiting for PPU/PVP Investigative Consultants based in Lincolnshire.
Rate of pay: £22 per hour (outside IR35)
Pay methods: Sole Trader, Limited company or via Umbrella PAYE
Location: Multiple locations across Lincolnshire
Hours: Full-time, part-time & compressed hours available
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Purpose
We are currently seeking Investigative Consultants to join our Peel Consultancy Team within the Protecting Vulnerable People Unit.

Duties
- Securing and reviewing evidence, including witness statements, CCTV, and documentary evidence.
- Victim and Witness Support: Engaging with victims and witnesses in a sensitive and professional manner.
- File Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of case file material and other operational documents.
- Analysing phone and device download reviews.
- Follow up outside enquiries
- Use internal IT systems to research and maintain records regarding individuals and investigation
- Maintain case progression timelines
- Reduce missed opportunities, evidential errors or investigative delays
- Safeguarding practice
- Evidence Gathering

Essential Experience
- Detective/PIP2 or equivalent experience
- Experience within a Major Incidents Team or Public Protection Unit/Protecting Vulnerable People Unit
Desirable Experience
- Experience interviewing and obtaining statements from vulnerable adults (ABE)
