Job Description Summary

We’re seeking a motivated and proactive finance professional to become part of the Wealth & Insurance (W&I) Finance team as a Manager within Investment Accounting.

With a focus on data underlying the investments held by the W&I Division, this role allows you to play a key role in important reporting processes under a number of regimes including IFRS, Solvency II/UK, and TCFD. You’ll also lead on improving processes, drive automation projects, and apply modern analytical tools.

The Role…

Are you looking to make a difference in a team responsible for overseeing and reporting on over £200bn of investments?

We’re looking for a motivated finance specialist to become part of the Investment Accounting team within the Wealth & Insurance (W&I) Finance division. The team is responsible for producing high-quality information related to the W&I divisions investment portfolio, for use directly in reporting, or for consumption by other teams.

The role will have a focus on managing asset data processes, and climate reporting. This involves the oversight and maintenance of key data attributes on an ongoing basis, seeking opportunities for the simplification of reporting of large data sets, and managing the production of required climate reports. You’ll work in a dynamic and cooperative environment, gaining exposure to various areas of the W&I business.

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple direct reports and supporting their career development
  • Developing a deep understanding of the data requirements of internal and external customers and embedding these within our processes
  • Leading on process advancements, automation efforts, and digital activities, with a focus on the Power Platform
  • Leading on the delivery of change initiatives, alongside core reporting responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
