About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Investment Agent to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced partners, advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of commercial real estate investments across the UK.
The successful candidate will play an active role in originating opportunities, building client relationships, executing transactions and contributing to the continued growth of the business. This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven and looking to accelerate their career within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on the acquisition and disposal of commercial real estate investments.
  • Source and originate new investment opportunities both on and off market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, developers, landlords and occupiers.
  • Prepare investment marketing materials, pitches and client presentations.
  • Undertake financial analysis, pricing assessments and investment appraisals.
  • Conduct market research and provide clients with strategic advice based on current market conditions.
  • Coordinate due diligence throughout the transaction process.
  • Negotiate terms and manage transactions through to completion.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Represent the business at industry events and maintain an active market presence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional client service.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • MRICS qualified with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience within commercial real estate investment or capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of the UK commercial property investment market.
  • Proven track record of advising on investment acquisitions and disposals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify and originate new business opportunities.
  • Strong financial analysis and investment appraisal skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable

  • Established network of investor, developer and agency contacts.
  • Experience preparing detailed cash flow models and investment appraisals.
  • Experience using CRM systems and property databases such as CoStar, EG Radius or similar.
