Leverton Search is partnering with a well-established independent asset manager to appoint a Junior Investment Analyst to its Global Equities team.
The analyst will work alongside a team of experienced portfolio managers across two concentrated global equity strategies, one focused on quality dividend payers and the other on innovative businesses. It is a close, supportive team where people tend to stay for the long term, and they are looking for someone to develop and grow with.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching companies, industries and peers, both for existing holdings and new ideas.
- Building and maintaining company models.
- Leading and attending company meetings, from one-to-ones to industry conferences.
- Developing screens to generate new investment ideas.
- Contributing to portfolio construction discussions and preparing portfolio analysis.
- Presenting ideas clearly and persuasively to the team.
- Supporting ESG research and company engagement.
- Contributing to fund commentary, insight notes and client presentations.

About You
The successful candidate will have an outstanding academic record and a real passion for financial markets. Extensive experience is not required, and relevant internships are welcome. Above all, the team is looking for curiosity, a willingness to ask good questions and the confidence to put forward ideas among a group of very bright people.
