Investment Analyst (1–2 Years' Experience) | Retail-Focused Commercial Real Estate REIT
Madison Berkeley is excited to be partnering exclusively with a leading UK-listed, retail-focused Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join its growing investment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years' experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, advisory, or a similar analytical role who wants to gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle within an institutional real estate investment platform.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting acquisitions and disposals from underwriting through execution
- Building and updating financial models (cash flow, IRR and yield analysis)
- Preparing investment committee and board materials
- Conducting market research across the UK retail property sector and analysing market trends
- Assisting with valuations, reporting and portfolio analysis
- Working closely with internal teams and external advisers on live transactions

What we're looking for:
- 1–2 years' experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, advisory, or a similar analytical role
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- A genuine interest in commercial real estate and capital markets
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn
